Yes, our team at Dimonds on Bridge Street covers a wide area across the local region, including Dolphinholme, Claughton-on-Brock, Bleasdale, and the surrounding villages. We also serve families in Lancaster, Morecambe, Preston, Garstang, and the communities in between, so wherever you are, we are here to help. Please do get in touch and we will talk through everything with you.
On the day of a cremation service, we will guide your family through every stage so that nothing feels uncertain or rushed. We typically begin with a service at one of the local churches we work closely with — such as St Thomas' Church or St Mary and St Michael's RC Church in the area — before accompanying your loved one to the crematorium. The service itself usually lasts around 30 to 45 minutes, and our team will be with you throughout, making sure the day reflects the person who died in a way that feels right for your family.
We have two on-site parking spaces at Dimonds, and we know that is not always enough when family members are travelling from across the area to make arrangements together. If you need more space, you can park on High Street for up to an hour free of charge, and both the Sainsbury's car park and a council car park are within a short walk. Our arrangement rooms are on the ground floor and the building is fully wheelchair accessible, with an accessible toilet available, so please do let us know if there is anything we can do to make your visit more comfortable.
When someone dies, it can be hard to know where to begin, and we want you to know that our team at Dimonds on Bridge Street is available to take your call and talk things through calmly, whatever the time. We can arrange for your loved one to be brought into our care from home, a hospital, or a care setting across the Garstang area and beyond, and we will explain the paperwork and next steps at a pace that suits you. You do not need to have any decisions made before you contact us — just reaching out is enough to get started.
We are experienced in arranging funerals across a full range of beliefs and wishes, whether that means a traditional service at St Hilda's or the United Reformed Church, a non-religious ceremony led by a civil celebrant, or something entirely personal that does not fit a single category. There is no single right way to say goodbye, and our team at Dimonds will take the time to understand what matters most to your family. We will help you find the right words, the right setting, and the right people to make the day meaningful.
