Co-op Funeralcare, Prudhoe
Victoria House, Front Street, Prudhoe, NE42 5HN
Our funeral home in Prudhoe has been serving the local community since 1996. During that time, we've come to know and love our local area well. We cover areas in and around Prudhoe, including Mickley, Stocksfield, Wylam and Ovingham. We're here to give you a friendly, reliable and sensitively planned funeral service at your time of need.
We will be led by you in making the funeral arrangements. We will listen as you tell us about who they were and what feels right for them. Then we will use our established relationships with local places of worship and crematoriums in the area, like St. Mary Magdalene, Our Lady and St. Cuthbert RC and Prudhoe Methodist Church to create a funeral that feels right.
If you need us, get in touch. You'll be greeted with a warm welcome, a friendly face and the promise of a cup of tea when we meet at our comfortable funeral home on Front Street.

Our funeral home is fully accessible at ground level, with wheelchair access and an accessible toilet, and our arrangement room comfortably seats up to five people so your family can be together when we sit down to plan.
We have long-standing relationships with local churches including St Mary Magdalene, Our Lady and St Cuthbert RC, and Prudhoe Methodist Church, and we're experienced in arranging services that reflect a family's faith. If you prefer a non-religious or civil ceremony, we can help with that too, tailoring every element so the funeral truly reflects the person who has died.
Reaching out to us is something you can do at any hour, and our team will guide you gently through what needs to happen next, including bringing your loved one into our care from wherever they have died. We handle the necessary paperwork and practical steps alongside you, so nothing feels overwhelming, and our funeral home on Front Street in Prudhoe is ready to support you from that very first call.
Yes, our team on Front Street covers Wylam and the surrounding villages, including Mickley, Stocksfield, Ovingham, and Prudhoe itself. We're here to support families across the area whenever you need us, and we can come to you to begin making arrangements if that's easier at such a difficult time.
We work with both Mountsett Crematorium and West Road Crematorium, and our team will help you decide which feels right for your family. On the day, we take care of every detail of the journey from Prudhoe to the crematorium, so your family can focus entirely on being together and saying goodbye.
