We're a funeral home in the heart of Thurnscoe, serving the communities of Great Houghton, Clayton, Goldthorpe and Bolton upon Dearne since 1967. We will be led by you in making the funeral arrangements. We will listen as you tell us about who they were and what feels right for them. Then we will use our established relationships with local places of worship and crematoriums in the area, like St Helen's Church in Thurnscoe, Great Houghton Methodist Church and St Michael's and All Angels in Great Houghton to create the funeral that feels right.

You can pay in full, spread the cost over 6 or 12 months with no additional costs or monthly instalments over 2–25 years (2-5 years for Direct Cremation). There's an additional instalment charge when paying over 2-25 years and age restrictions apply.

We work with four crematoriums depending on your family's wishes and location, including Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham, and Grenoside. On the day, our team will arrange and lead the procession from the agreed location, accompanying your loved one throughout and ensuring everything runs smoothly so your family can focus on being together.
We are available to help you from the very first moment, including the collection of your loved one, so please do not hesitate to call us at any hour. Once your family is ready, we can sit down together in our arrangement rooms on Houghton Road, just a short distance from communities like Bolton upon Dearne, and take care of all the necessary paperwork and decisions at a pace that suits you.

Our building is fully wheelchair accessible, has an accessible toilet, and our arrangement rooms are on the ground floor, with our larger room accommodating up to 20 people comfortably.
