Our funeral home on Station Road has street parking close by, and the building is fully accessible with step-free entry, a ground-floor arrangement room, and an accessible toilet, so families do not need to worry about mobility or access. Our arrangement room comfortably seats up to five people, giving your family a quiet, private space to make plans together — and if you are travelling from further afield such as Lintzford, our team is happy to advise on the easiest route.
We have longstanding relationships with local churches including St Barnabas Church and St Patrick's Church, as well as Strathmore Road Methodist, and we are equally experienced in arranging entirely non-religious and civil ceremonies. Whatever reflects the life and beliefs of the person who has died, our team will work with you to make the service feel meaningful and personal.
You do not need to have everything figured out before you call us — our team at Station Road is here to help from the very first moment, any time of day or night. We can talk you through the immediate practicalities, arrange for the person who has died to be brought into our care, and give you the space and time you need before any further decisions are made.
We are very much here for families in Winlaton Mill, and our team on Station Road is well placed to support you through every stage of arranging a funeral. We also serve Highfield, Lintzford, and the wider Rowlands Gill area, so please do not hesitate to get in touch with us however close or far you feel you are.
We work with two crematoriums: Mountsett Crematorium and West Road Crematorium, and our team will help you decide which feels right depending on your family's wishes and circumstances. On the day itself, we guide you through everything — from the arrival of the cortège to the committal — so that you can focus entirely on saying goodbye to the person who has died rather than worrying about logistics.
