1269 Pollokshaws Road, Shawlands, G41 3RR
We're proud to have served our community in Shawlands since 1980. In that time, our funeral home has helped countless families, offering the practical guidance and advice they need to arrange a fitting send off for a loved one. Whether you live in Shawlands or surrounding areas like Pollokshaws, Thornliebank, Merrylee or Mosspark, no one knows the area and its people better than our team.
Our strong relationships with local churches and crematoriums like Shawlands Church, Shawlands Trinity Church and St Helen's RC mean we can help you plan the kind of funeral that feels right for you. It could be religious, non-religious, a celebration or something more traditional, we will be guided by you and together we will make it happen.

View funeral notices and leave a tribute or donation in their memory
We work closely with local churches including St Helen's RC and St Mary Immaculate RC, and our team has many years of experience supporting Catholic families with the full range of traditional rites. Whether your family needs a Requiem Mass, a reception of the body the evening before, or specific cultural or religious observances, we will coordinate every detail with your parish priest and the wider family.
On the day of the cremation, our team will lead the funeral procession and ensure everything runs smoothly from the moment you gather at the funeral home or chosen venue, such as Shawlands Church or St Helen's RC. The service itself typically lasts around 30 to 45 minutes and can include music, readings, and personal tributes that reflect your loved one's life. Afterwards, families are usually invited to take a moment together before the committal, and our team will explain every step beforehand so nothing feels unexpected on the day.
Our Shawlands funeral home on Pollokshaws Road serves families across Thornliebank, Pollokshaws, Merrylee, Mosspark, Linn, Craigton, Hurlet, and Shawlands itself. Wherever you are in these surrounding neighbourhoods, our team can come to you and guide you through every arrangement at whatever pace feels right for your family.
You can call our Shawlands funeral home at any time, day or night, and our team will be there to help you straight away, including bringing your father into our care from his home, a hospital, or anywhere else in the local area. We will talk you through the paperwork, registering the death, and any immediate decisions at a pace that suits you — there is no pressure to decide everything at once. Our arrangement room on Pollokshaws Road is on the ground floor and fully accessible, so everyone in the family can come in together when you are ready.
There is street parking on and around Pollokshaws Road, though spaces can be limited at busier times of day. The most straightforward option is the nearby car park, which is free for up to two hours — plenty of time for most arrangement or chapel of rest visits — after which a charge applies. Our arrangement room is on the ground floor and the building has wheelchair access, so if anyone in your family has mobility needs, please do let us know when you call and we will make sure everything is in place for your visit.
