Yes, our team at H H Birch on Bingley Road serves families across Baildon, Bingley, Halifax, Keighley, and the wider Shipley area. Wherever you are in the surrounding towns and villages, we can come to you and guide you through every step of the arrangements. You don't need to worry about distance, we're here for the whole community.
At H H Birch, we have experience arranging funerals across a wide range of faiths and traditions, including Catholic, Church of England, Hindu, Sikh, Humanist, Baha'i, African, and Polish ceremonies. We work closely with local places of worship such as St Peter's, St Walburge's, Baildon Methodist, and St Paul's to ensure the service truly reflects the beliefs and values of the person who died. Our team will listen carefully to your wishes and make sure every detail honours who they were.
When you're ready, call us, we're available around the clock, and our team can come to you whether your loved one died at home, in hospital, or in a care setting. We'll handle the collection with care and respect, and once your loved one is with us at our Shipley funeral home, we can begin to talk through the paperwork and next steps at a pace that suits you. There's no pressure to make every decision immediately; we'll be with you every step of the way.
We work with Shay Grange, Parkwood, Rawdon, and Oakworth crematoriums, and our team will help you choose the one that feels right for your family. On the day, we take care of all the practical details, from the procession to liaising with the crematorium staff, so your family can focus on saying goodbye. Whether you choose Rawdon for its peaceful setting or Oakworth closer to the Keighley area, we'll make sure everything runs smoothly and with dignity.
Our chapel of rest at H H Birch on Bingley Road provides a calm, private space where your family can visit and spend time with the person who died before the funeral. We also have a service venue on site with capacity for up to ten people, which can be used for a small, intimate gathering. The funeral home is fully wheelchair accessible, and parking is available on the drive at the entrance to Nab Wood Cemetery, making it easy for all members of the family to visit.
