Yes, our team covers London Colney, Redbourn, Harpenden and the wider West Herts area, as well as communities closer to St Albans itself. Wherever you are in the area, we can come to you and take care of everything from the moment you call us. You don't need to travel far — we're here to support your family through every step.
We arrange all kinds of services, whether that's a traditional religious funeral, a humanist ceremony, or something entirely personal that reflects who your loved one was. We work closely with St Paul's and other local venues to find the right setting for the service you have in mind. Our team will listen carefully to what matters to your family and help shape a farewell that feels true to the person who died.
There is street parking directly outside and next to the funeral home on Hatfield Road, where you can park for up to two hours, which is usually plenty of time for an arrangement meeting. Our arrangement room is on the ground floor, and we also have an accessible toilet available, so please do let us know in advance if there's anything we can do to make your visit more comfortable. If you have any concerns about getting to us, just call ahead and our team will do their best to help.
When someone has died, you can call us at any time — day or night — and we'll be ready to help, including arranging to bring your loved one into our care from wherever they are, whether that's a home in Harpenden, a hospital in Hemel Hempstead, or anywhere else we cover. We'll talk you gently through the paperwork that needs to happen, such as registering the death, and make sure you never feel alone with what needs to be done. There's no pressure to make every decision immediately — our team will help you take things one step at a time.
On the day of the cremation, we'll guide your family through the entire service, from the moment we leave Hatfield Road to the committal itself. We'll talk you through the timings in advance so you know exactly what to expect — typically the service lasts around 30 to 45 minutes at the crematorium, though this varies. Afterwards, we'll explain all your options for the ashes and support you in deciding what feels right for your family.
