We use Mendip Crematorium for cremation services, and our team will guide your family through everything so you know exactly what to expect on the day. The procession will travel to the crematorium, where you and your loved ones can gather to say goodbye in a setting that reflects the person who died. We will take care of all the arrangements with the crematorium on your behalf, so you can focus on being together as a family.
Our funeral home on High Street has on-site parking, including designated disabled parking spaces, and there is also paid parking in a nearby car park as well as street parking close by. The arrangement room is on the ground floor and the building is fully wheelchair accessible, with an accessible toilet available. Our arrangement room comfortably seats up to four people, so your family can sit together and talk through everything in private.
You do not need to have everything figured out before you call us, and you do not need to wait until the next working day either. Our team in Street is available to take your call, arrange collection of the person who died, and talk you through the practical steps at whatever pace feels right for you. Whether your loved one died at home, in hospital, or in a care setting in places like Wells or Shepton Mallet, we will come to you and take things from there.
We are experienced in arranging funerals that reflect a wide range of faiths, cultures, and personal beliefs, including Buddhist, Catholic, Church of England, Spiritual and Naturalist traditions, and funerals for members of the Travelling community. We work with local venues such as the Shrine Church of Our Lady of Glastonbury and St Peter's Church in Evercreech, as well as other locations that feel right for your family. Whatever matters most to the person who died, we will be led entirely by you.
Yes, our Street funeral home serves a wide area across this part of Somerset, including Glastonbury, Wells, Shepton Mallet, Butleigh, Baltonsborough, and Evercreech.
