We have five on-site parking spaces at our Lochiel Road funeral home, including a designated disabled parking bay, and the arrangement room is on the ground floor with full wheelchair access and an accessible toilet. Street parking nearby is limited and can involve a short walk, so if any member of your family has mobility needs, it's worth letting us know in advance and we'll do our best to make sure everything is straightforward from the moment you arrive.
Please don't feel you need to have everything worked out before you call us — our team is here to help from the very first moment, and we can come to your home in Thornliebank or anywhere in the surrounding area to bring your father into our care. Once he is with us, we'll walk you through the paperwork and registration process step by step, so nothing feels overwhelming. There's no pressure to make every decision at once, and our arrangement room on Lochiel Road is a calm, private space where we can sit with you and take things at your own pace.
We work closely with a number of local churches and can arrange services at St Vincent De Paul RC Church or Carnwadric Church of Scotland, both of which our team knows well. Whether your family follows a particular faith tradition or you'd prefer a non-religious ceremony led by a humanist celebrant, we'll help you find the right setting and the right words for the occasion.
Yes, our team on Lochiel Road regularly supports families across Rouken Glen and the surrounding areas, including Whitecraigs, Pollok, Speirsbridge, Deaconsbank, Linn, Hurlet, and Craigton. Wherever you are in the area, we can come to you and guide your family through every step at whatever pace feels right.
On the day, our team will bring your loved one to the chosen crematorium and help coordinate the timing of the service so your family can focus entirely on being together. You can choose music, readings, and whether you'd like a celebrant, a minister, or simply a quiet, private gathering — the shape of the service is yours to decide. Families from Thornliebank and nearby Craigton often ask us to handle all the practical arrangements so nothing is left to chance on the day itself.
