On the day of a cremation service, our team will bring your loved one into the church or ceremony venue — such as Christ Church Thornton or St Nicholas' Church — before the coffin is carried in for the service itself. After the service, we accompany your loved one to the crematorium on your family's behalf, and we will talk you through the timing, the order of the day, and what to expect so nothing comes as a surprise. We want your family to feel held and informed at every moment, not uncertain about what comes next.
We work closely with a number of local churches and can arrange services at St Teresa's Church, St Andrew's Church, Christ Church Thornton and St Nicholas' Church, among others. Whether your family follows a particular faith tradition or you are looking for a more reflective, non-religious service, our team at the Cleveleys funeral home will help you shape something that genuinely reflects the person who died.
You do not need to have everything figured out before you call us — our team at the Cleveleys funeral home on Kelso Avenue is here to help from the very first moment, day or night. We can arrange for your loved one to be brought into our care, and we will walk you gently through the paperwork and the practical decisions at whatever pace feels right for your family. There is no pressure to make every choice immediately, and we are with you every step of the way.
We have ten on-site parking spaces on Kelso Avenue, with additional street parking nearby, and the building is fully accessible at ground level with a ground floor arrangement room suitable for anyone with mobility needs. To reach us, follow the one-way system and stay in the left lane — our funeral home is just before the traffic lights, so you will not need to double back. If you are unsure about finding us, please do call ahead and our team will talk you in.
