We're a well‑established funeral home in Tollcross, and proudly part of Co‑op Funeralcare since 2000. We're dedicated to giving you and your family the care and support you need when arranging a funeral, whether you live in Shettleston, Bridgeton, Parkhead or Dalmarnock. We're here to help.
The first thing we'll do at the arrangement meeting is listen to you. And whatever your religion, culture or heritage, we can help you arrange the right kind of funeral. We work with all the local places of worship and crematoriums, including St Joseph's RC Church, St Michael's in Parkhead and St Paul's in Shettleston and Daldowie, Craigton, Glasgow and The Hurlet crematoriums. You can call our Tollcross Road funeral home at any time, day or night, and our team will be there to help — there is no need to wait until morning or a weekday. We can arrange to bring your loved one into our care, talk you through the paperwork that needs to happen in the days ahead, and make sure you feel supported rather than overwhelmed. There is no pressure to make any decisions immediately; our role in those early hours is simply to be there for your family.
Yes, our team at Tollcross covers Shettleston as well as the surrounding areas of Parkhead, Bridgeton, Dalmarnock, Daldowie, Craigton, The Hurlet, and across Glasgow. Wherever your family is based, we can come to you and support you through every stage of the arrangements. You are always welcome to visit us on Tollcross Road to talk things through in person.
On the day of the cremation, our team will bring your loved one to the crematorium at the arranged time, and we will guide your family through exactly what to expect so nothing feels unfamiliar or rushed. You can choose music, readings, and whether you would like a celebrant, a minister, or a completely non-religious service to reflect the person who died. We handle all the coordination with the crematorium on your behalf, so your family can focus entirely on being together and saying goodbye.
We work closely with local churches including St Michael's in Parkhead, St Joseph's RC Church, St Paul's in Shettleston, and St Jude and St John Ogilvie in Barlanark, so we are well placed to support Catholic funeral Masses and other faith services. Our team understands the importance of getting every detail right, from the order of service to liaising directly with the parish priest on your behalf. If your family follows a different tradition entirely, we are equally experienced in arranging non-religious and humanist funerals.
Our funeral home on Tollcross Road has wheelchair access, an accessible toilet, and a ground floor arrangement room, so families who have mobility needs will find everything they require on one level. Street parking is available nearby, and if you are unsure where to leave your car, our team is happy to advise when you call ahead. We have three private arrangement rooms and a service venue on-site that can accommodate up to 50 people, giving your family a calm, comfortable space to gather.
