Absolutely, we regularly work with St Mary's in Totnes, St John's in Bridgetown and St Mary's in Dartington, as well as Buckfast Abbey for those who would like a more traditional or religious setting. We are experienced in coordinating with local clergy and faith communities to make sure the service reflects your loved one's beliefs and wishes. If you have a particular church or faith tradition in mind, our team will do everything we can to accommodate that.
We have six on-site parking spaces at our funeral home on Western By Pass, and if those are taken there are paid car parks in Totnes town centre nearby, as well as free on-street parking around a five to ten minute walk away on Plymouth Road. Our arrangement room is on the ground floor and the building is fully wheelchair accessible, with an accessible toilet available. We want every member of your family to be able to attend your arrangement meeting comfortably, and our team will always do their best to make that possible.
Yes, our team at Hallett and Perring covers the wider South Hams area, including Salcombe, Kingsbridge, South Brent and Dartington. We have been serving families across this part of Devon since 2010, and we know the local area well. Wherever you are, we will come to you and make sure your family is looked after from the very beginning.
We work with four crematoriums depending on your preference and location, Torquay, Exeter, Plymouth at the Park and Tamar Valley. On the day, our team will organise the procession and accompany you throughout, guiding your family so you can focus on being together rather than on logistics. We are happy to talk through what each crematorium is like so you can choose the one that feels right for your family.
When someone you love has died, reaching out to us at any time of day or night is always the right place to start, and our team will talk you through everything calmly and without rush. We can arrange for your mother to be brought into our care from anywhere across the South Hams, including Dartington, Kingsbridge and beyond, and we will guide you through the paperwork and registration process step by step. You do not need to have any decisions made before you call, we are simply here to help your family feel supported from the very first moment.
