We cover a wide area across South Lakeland, including Crake Valley, Grange-over-Sands, the Furness villages, and the broader South Lakes region, so wherever you are in the area, our team on Cavendish Street is here to help. Distance is never a barrier, and we will always come to you when it matters most.
We arrange funerals across the full range of beliefs and traditions, from services at Ulverston Parish Church or St Mary's RC Church through to entirely secular celebrations of life held wherever feels most meaningful to your family. Our team will listen carefully to what matters to you and build a funeral that genuinely reflects the person who died.
We have five on-site parking spaces directly at our Cavendish Street funeral home, and if those are occupied, there is also free street parking nearby for up to an hour, as well as a paid car park close by. Our building is fully wheelchair accessible with a ground floor arrangement room and an accessible toilet, so every member of your family is able to visit comfortably.
Our team on Cavendish Street is available around the clock, so please do not hesitate to call us at any hour — you will always reach a real person. When you are ready, we can come to bring your father into our care and then arrange a time to sit down together in our ground floor arrangement room, which is fully accessible, to talk through everything at your own pace.
We work with Thorncliffe, Beetham, and Lancaster and Morecambe Crematorium, and our team will talk through the options with you so you can choose what feels right for your family. On the day itself, we manage every detail of the journey from Ulverston, accompanying your loved one and your family throughout so you can focus entirely on saying goodbye.
