Yes, we have a chapel of rest here at our funeral home on Market Square, Waltham Abbey, where your family is welcome to spend quiet, private time with your loved one before the funeral. We also have on-site parking, which we hope makes visiting a little easier during what is already a difficult time. Please do be aware that our premises are not currently wheelchair accessible, and if you have any concerns about access, we encourage you to call us ahead of your visit so we can do our best to help.
Please do not hesitate to call us, as our team is available any time of day or night, including weekends and bank holidays. Once you are in touch, we can arrange for your father to be brought into our care from wherever he died, whether that is at home, in hospital, or elsewhere in the Waltham Abbey area. We will also guide you through the paperwork and registrations that need to happen in the early days, so you are never left wondering what comes next.
We are here to arrange a funeral that truly reflects who your loved one was, whether that means a traditional religious service, a secular celebration of life, or something shaped by your family's own cultural background. Our team at our Waltham Abbey funeral home will listen carefully and work with ministers, celebrants, or community leaders of your choosing. There is no single way to say goodbye, and we will follow your family's lead.
Yes, our team at Waltham Abbey is very happy to help families in Cheshunt and across the surrounding area. We regularly support families throughout Waltham Cross, Broxbourne, Hoddesdon, Enfield, and of course Waltham Abbey itself. Wherever you are, we will come to you and make sure your family is cared for every step of the way.
We work with several crematoriums in the area, including Parndon Wood, Woollensbrook, Enfield Crematorium, and Green Acres. On the day, our team will take care of all the arrangements, from the procession to liaising with the staff at whichever crematorium you choose, so your family can focus entirely on saying goodbye. We will talk you through exactly what to expect beforehand so nothing feels unfamiliar or rushed.
