Yes, our team at Pools of Wetherby covers Collingham and the surrounding villages, including Boston Spa, Linton, Thorp Arch, and the wider Wetherby area. From our funeral home on St James Street, we can come to you wherever you are, so distance need not be a worry during such a difficult time.
You can call us at any time, day or night, and our team will guide you calmly through what needs to happen, including bringing your loved one into our care from their home, a hospital, or a care facility in the Wetherby area. We will talk you through the paperwork, explain the next steps, and make sure nothing feels rushed or overwhelming during those first difficult hours.
We have a long-standing relationship with St James' CofE on St James Street, as well as St Joseph's Catholic Church and the Methodist Church, so we can arrange a religious service at whichever place of worship feels right for your family. If you would prefer something non-religious or a more personal celebration of life, we can arrange that too, working with a celebrant who will reflect who your loved one truly was.
We work with Stonefall Crematorium, York Crematorium, and Maplepark Crematorium, and we will talk you through which might suit your family best depending on location and availability. On the day, our team will lead the procession and stay with you throughout, making sure everything runs smoothly so you can focus on being together as a family.
Our funeral home on St James Street has a private arrangement room on the ground floor, comfortably set up for families of up to five people, so you can take your time discussing everything in a calm, unhurried setting. There is no on-site parking, but a free car park is nearby along with street parking, making it straightforward to reach us from Wetherby town centre and the surrounding villages.
