Co-op Funeralcare Client Discount on Funeral Plans – Terms and Conditions

PROMOTION PERIOD: The offer runs from 12.01.26 until 27.02.26 (inclusive) (the “Promotion Period”).

ELIGIBILITY: Open to Co-op Funeralcare clients and one Immediate Family Member who: - are UK residents (excluding Northern Ireland), aged 18 or over - arrange and pay for a Co-op funeral, including redemption of a funeral plan, during the Promotion Period

“Immediate Family Member” means spouse or partner, children and step-children, parents, step-parents, parents in law and step parents in-law, grandparents and step-grandparents, siblings and step-siblings

THE PROMOTIONAL CODE: clients will receive a voucher featuring a code (the “Promotional Code").

The Promotional Code must be redeemed in-branch or over the telephone before 29.06.26. The Promotional Code cannot be redeemed online.

When redeeming the Promotional Code the following discounts are applied: £100 off a Direct Cremation Plan or £250 off an attended funeral plan (Simple, Bronze, Silver, or Gold). The Promotional Code must be provided to a Co-op colleague at the time of purchase. Single use per Promotional Code. The Promotional Code is non-transferable except to one Immediate Family Member.

The Promotional Code will be provided after the arranged funeral either by email or post, depending on the client’s marketing preferences or otherwise as indicated to the Promoter during the post-funeral process.

If an eligible client uses the Promotional Code and subsequently cancels their funeral plan, any refund will be the plan amount less the discount and any applicable cancellation fees as set out in the relevant funeral plan terms which can be found here.

Upgrades or downgrades of pre-existing funeral plans are excluded from this promotion.

The discount is deducted from the plan value, is non-transferable, and cannot be used with any other offer, discount, or promotion.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: The Promoter’s total liability is limited to the value of the discount (£100 or £250, as applicable). The Promoter is not responsible for any third-party acts or omissions. We cannot guarantee that the promotion will be free from disruptions, failings, or cancellations. We are not liable for such disruptions, failings, or cancellations unless they are caused by our negligence. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for lost or damaged Promotional Codes, in the event of a damaged or lost Promotional Code, the client may request another copy from the Promoter. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for Promotional Codes not successfully applied at purchase due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network, or server failure of any kind whether or not such failure is within the control of the Promoter or its agents.

COMPLAINTS: If there is any dispute about the Promotional Code or any other aspect of the promotion, this will be decided by the Promoter. The Promoter’s decision regarding any aspect of the promotion is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it. These terms and conditions prevail in the event of a conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials.

REVOCATION: We reserve the right to reject any use of the Promotional Code if we reasonably suspect you of failing to comply with these terms and conditions or of fraud, cheating or dishonesty, without limitation, through the manipulation of codes, multiple or otherwise fraudulently falsifying data or acting fraudulently or dishonestly in the Promoter’s opinion.

CANCELLATION OR WITHDRAWAL OF PROMOTION: The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw this promotion at any time, without liability to any party, if necessary.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS: We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Revised terms and conditions will be available at coop.co.uk/plansaving. It is your responsibility to keep up to date with any such changes.

RELEVANT LAW: This promotion and these terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England, and you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts if any dispute arises.
