Terms & Conditions:

Offer is available to new UK customers who purchase a pre-paid Co-op funeral plan between 5 May to 28 June 2026 (inclusive). To qualify your funeral plan must remain active for 90 days with all payments up to date. All gifts will be sent via email, a valid email address will be required. The gift card value varies by funeral plan type: Direct Cremation Plan (£50), Simple Plan (£100) or Bronze, Silver or Gold (£200). Co-op members receive an additional £50 on their Co-op member card once gift card selected. A £1 member joining fee applies, see coop.co.uk/terms/membership for Membership T&Cs. One gift card per eligible funeral plan. The gift card is redeemable only by the purchaser of the funeral plan and is subject to the gift card supplier’s terms and conditions. Excludes NI. The Offer

If you purchase a new funeral plan through Co-op, you will get a free gift card worth up to £200 depending on the funeral plan purchased and if you are a Co-op member you will receive an additional £50 reward on your membership account, when you select your gift card. Your plan must remain active for at least 90 days and payments must be up to date. The offer is for new customers only and excludes upgrades, downgrades and customers who have cancelled a Co-op funeral plan between 05/05/2026 – 28/06/2026 or already have a funeral plan with us. A valid email address or postal address must be provided at the point of purchase to claim the gift card. All gifts will be sent via email, a valid email address will be required Offer cannot be used in conjunction with member prices or colleague discount/colleague prices. A valid membership number is required at point of purchase to receive the additional £50 credit on the members wallet. £1 Membership joining fee and Membership terms and conditions apply. Only valid in Great Britian, excludes Northern Ireland.

What Non-Co-op Members get:

Non-members will receive a £50 gift card for a Direct Cremation Plan, £100 gift card for a Simple Plan and £200 gift card for a Bronze, Silver or Gold Plan.

What Co-op Members get:

Members who go on to claim a gift card when invited to do so, will receive £50 reward credit on their membership account.

FSL provides our funeral services and is a registered society, with its registered office at 1 Angel Square, Manchester, M60 0AG (registration number 30808R). CFPL provides and sells our funeral plans and is a registered society, with its registered office at 1 Angel Square, Manchester, M60 0AG (registration number 4818). CFPL is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (Firm Reference Number 962119). Reference to “we”, “us” or “our” in these terms and conditions are references to the promoter. When we say “you and “your”, we mean the person applying for and paying for the funeral plan for the first time and who has not previously purchased or held a Co-op funeral plan.

  • This promotion is provided and managed on the Promoter’s behalf by The Marketing Lounge Partnership Limited (‘MLP’), (Company number 06467245) of the Cow shed, Walnut Tree Farm, Lower Stretton, Cheshire, United Kingdom, WA4 4PG. MLP are, as defined in the General Data Protection Regulation ((EU) 2016/679), the Data Processor. CFPL will share some of your personal information with MLP in order to fulfil the Offer. In addition, MLP will share any email address you provide when claiming the Offer with CFPL and other members of the Co‑op Group. This information will be used for the purposes of administering and communicating with you in relation to the Offer. By accepting the Offer, you agree to give consent for this information to be shared.

Offer Period:

  • This offer is available from 05/05/2026 to 28/06/2026 (inclusive).

Member Data Matching Criteria:

  • To establish you as a Co-op Member, a valid membership number must be provided at the point of purchase. We accept no responsibility or liability for the non-application of the Offer where inaccurate or incorrect information is provided.

  • You can become a Co-op Member before you purchase a funeral plan. A £1 membership joining fee and membership terms and conditions apply.

  • You must be aged 18+ and a UK resident, excluding Northern Ireland, to purchase a pre-paid Co-op funeral plan.

Notification and Application of Offer:

  • There is no requirement to enter a promotional code when purchasing a Co-op pre-paid funeral plan.

  • Only one gift card per eligible funeral plan bought, which will be subject to their own terms and conditions.

How to Redeem:

  • If you’re eligible, you will receive a ‘How to Claim’ email or letter within 28 days of the funeral plan being active for 90 days, using the email address or mailing address we hold on record. This email/letter will include details about the gift card, how to choose/claim it and the terms and conditions. MLP will send the invite by email or letter, depending on the communication preferences you provided when you took out your plan.  A valid email address is required to receive the gift card.

  • You will have 30 days from the date you receive the message to choose which gift card you would like.

  • If you are eligible for the gift card, the form of communication will direct you to a website run by MLP to make your choice from a range of retailers, for the gift card value offered for the funeral plan purchased. Any customers who are contacted by letter, will need to supply a valid email address at the point of claiming. All gifts will be sent by email.

  • After you’ve made your choice, you will be directed to a thank you page where the customer will be notified that their gift email will be sent out within the next 30 days. Once the gift card has been sent out via email, you will also be given details of the gift, how to use and the expiry information. Viewing of these details will remain active for 30 days: we recommend that you make a note of them to ensure you are able to use them beyond the viewing expiry. This does not affect the expiry of the gift card.

  • Gift card offerings must be redeemed within the given period stated on the initial gift card email otherwise the gift card will expire and will no longer be available and cannot be offered again.

  • Co-op Members who have chosen their gift card will have the additional £50 reward credit added to their membership account within 30 days of making the gift card selection. We will email you to confirm when that has been done.

Additional terms

  • The Offer has no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash, or an alternative or transferred.

  • Once the gift card is redeemed by You by selecting a participating merchant's gift card on MLP’s ‘How to Claim’ webpage, we take no liability for lost, misplaced, damaged or stolen gift cards.

  • The terms and conditions of this Offer do not alter or vary the terms and conditions of any pre-paid Co-op funeral plan bought.

  • You must notify us if there are any issues with receiving your Offer within 6 months of your funeral plan start date. Where you fail to contact us within this time, we may in our absolute discretion refuse to fulfil the Offer without liability to you.   • Any applications for an eligible funeral plan are subject to normal terms and conditions including where relevant any underwriting criteria.

  • Fraud and abuse relating to the Offer may result in the forfeiture of the gift card and the additional member reward and termination of your funeral plan.

  • The promoter decision in relation to the Offer is final and no correspondence will be entered into. In the event of any dispute regarding the rules, conduct the decision of the Promoter will be final.

Use of Personal Information

  • We will only process your personal information as set out at Privacy notice - Co-op Funeralcare in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and any other applicable data privacy laws and will be required to pass some of your personal information to MLP to fulfil the Offer. By accepting the Offer, you agree to give consent for this information to be shared.

Exclusions

  • This Offer is for new funeral plan customers bought through Co-operative Group Limited business only.

  • Colleague members who purchase a funeral plan with their colleague discount are excluded from this Offer.

  • Funeral plans bought via third parties or partners are not eligible for this Offer.

  • Temporary Co-op Membership cardholders are excluded from the Offer.

  • If your funeral plan is cancelled within 90 days of the funeral plan start date, or if payment by monthly instalments and your payments are not up to date, for any reason, you will not be eligible to receive the Offer.

  • This offer is not available in Northern Ireland.

  • This offer cannot be used in conjunction with Member Prices or any other Offer or Promotion.

Cancellation or withdrawal

  • The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw, modify or terminate this Offer, without notice, in whole or in part in the event that it is necessary to do so, or if the uptake of the Offer exceeds expectations.

Changes to these terms and conditions

  • We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Revised terms and conditions will be available at coop.co.uk/giftcardterms. It is your responsibility to keep up to date with any such changes.

  • If any paragraph in these terms and conditions is found by any court or administrative body of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, such invalidity or unenforceability shall not affect the other paragraphs of these terms and conditions, which shall remain in full force and effect.

Relevant Law

  • These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

  • The Courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction in connection with these terms and conditions.
