Absolutely. Many of the funerals we arrange from our Bishopsworth branch are non-religious or humanist ceremonies, reflecting the person's own beliefs and values. We work with experienced celebrants who can create a personal, meaningful service at South Bristol Crematorium or any of the other crematorium chapels we use. The service can include readings, music and tributes that celebrate your loved one's life in a way that feels right for your family, without any religious content unless you'd like to include it.
Yes, we have a peaceful chapel of rest here at our Highridge Road branch where you're welcome to spend time with your loved one before the funeral. Visiting can be an important part of saying goodbye, and our team will arrange a time that suits you and make sure you have privacy and comfort during your visit. We've been caring for families in Bishopsworth since 1993, and we understand how meaningful these moments can be. Just let us know if you'd like to arrange a visit, and we'll take care of everything.
The first thing to do is call us on the number at the top of this page, and our Bishopsworth team will talk you through everything step by step. We'll arrange to bring your loved one into our care, whether they've passed away at home, in hospital or in a care home anywhere across Hartcliffe, Bedminster or the surrounding areas. From there, we'll sit down with you to discuss your wishes, explain all the options available and start making the practical arrangements. You don't need to have everything figured out before you call, we're here to guide you through it all.
Yes, we work regularly with South Bristol Crematorium and know the venue and its team very well. We also arrange services at Westerleigh Crematorium and Canford Crematorium, so we can help you choose the location that feels right for your family. Each crematorium has its own chapels where the service takes place, and we'll guide you through what to expect on the day, from timings to how family and friends can participate. Our experience with these venues means we can handle all the arrangements smoothly and answer any questions you have about the facilities.
Our Bishopsworth branch on Highridge Road serves families across a wide area of south Bristol, including Hartcliffe, Bedminster, Withywood and Knowle. We've been part of these communities since 1993, so our team knows the local area well and can help arrange everything you need close to home. Whether your family is based in Bishopsworth itself or any of the surrounding neighbourhoods, we're here to support you through every step of the funeral arrangement.
