View funeral notices and leave a tribute or donation in their memory
On the day, your family will gather at the service venue — we can hold up to 70 people here at our Glasgow Road funeral home — before accompanying your loved one to the crematorium. Our team will have spoken with you well in advance about the order of service, music, readings and any personal touches that feel right, so that nothing is left to chance on the day. We stay with you throughout, ensuring the timing runs smoothly and that your family can focus entirely on saying goodbye.
You can call us at any hour, day or night, and our team will be there to guide you through everything from that very first conversation. One of the most immediate things we can help with is bringing your father into our care at our Glasgow Road funeral home, where our chapel of rest means your family can visit him in a calm and private setting whenever you feel ready. We will also explain the paperwork and registration process clearly, so nothing feels overwhelming at a time when you are already carrying so much.
Absolutely — our team regularly works with local Catholic parishes, including St Joseph's Catholic Church and St John Ogilvie Catholic Church, and we are experienced in coordinating with clergy to make sure every element of the service reflects your faith and traditions. We also work closely with High Blantyre Parish Church and St Andrew's Church for Church of Scotland and other Christian services. Whatever your beliefs, we will take the time to understand what matters most to your family.
Yes, our team on Glasgow Road is very much here for families in Cambuslang, as well as Blantyre itself, Hamilton, Daldowie, Holytown and the wider South Lanarkshire area. Distance is never a barrier, and we will come to you whenever you need us. Please do not hesitate to get in touch so we can talk through how we can support your family.
There is a free car park nearby on Glasgow Road, which makes it straightforward for family members arriving by car, including those travelling in from Hamilton or Cambuslang. Our funeral home is fully wheelchair accessible, with a ground floor arrangement room, an accessible toilet, and step-free entry, so every member of your family can be with you when it matters. We have been welcoming families here since 1990 and have always believed that practical comfort is part of how we look after you.
