Absolutely, we arrange both religious and non-religious funerals, tailored to what matters to your family. We work closely with local churches including St Joseph's Church, St Bartholomew's Church and St George's Church if you'd like a traditional service. For families who prefer a non-religious ceremony, we can arrange a personal celebration of life at one of the crematoriums or another venue that feels meaningful to you.
Absolutely, we look after families throughout Patcham and have done for decades. Our London Road funeral home serves Patcham, Hove, Coldean and Withdean, and we know these communities well. Whether you're arranging a service at Downs Crematorium or one of the local churches like St Bartholomew's, our team will guide you through everything with the same patient, compassionate care we've been known for since 1950.
We work regularly with Downs Crematorium, Woodvale Crematorium and Worthing Crematorium, so we know each venue well and can talk you through what to expect. Your choice often depends on timing, location and personal preference, and our team will explain the differences to help you decide. Each crematorium has its own character and facilities, and we'll make sure all the practical details are arranged smoothly on the day.
Yes, our phone line is available 24 hours a day, every day of the year. We know that death doesn't keep office hours, and you might need us at 3am on a Sunday or during a bank holiday. When you call, you'll speak with someone from our team who can arrange everything you need, including bringing your loved one into our care from hospital, home or a care facility. There's no pressure and no rush, we're here whenever you need us, day or night.
We opened our doors on London Road in 1950, so we've been part of Brighton for over seventy years. That local knowledge and long history mean we understand the communities of Patcham, Hove, Coldean and Withdean really well, and many families come to us because we've cared for their relatives before. Our clients often describe us as patient, kind and compassionate, and those values have stayed at the heart of what we do since the beginning.
