We have many years of experience arranging funerals across a wide range of faiths and traditions, including Church of England, Catholic, and Buddhist services, as well as Humanist ceremonies for families who prefer a non-religious farewell. We work closely with local venues such as St Mary's in Diss, Diss Methodist Church, and Diss Baptist Church to find the right setting for your service. Whatever your beliefs, our team will listen carefully and make sure the day truly honours your loved one.
Our team at Diss Funeralcare incorporating Rackham's is available to take your call at any time, day or night, so you never have to face those first difficult hours alone. Once you are ready, we can arrange to bring your loved one into our care from their home, a hospital, or a care facility in or around Diss, and we will explain the paperwork and registration process gently as we go. There is no need to have everything decided straight away, we will move at whatever pace feels right for your family.
We work regularly with West Suffolk Crematorium, Waveney Memorial Park & Crematorium, and Breckland Crematorium, so your family has a genuine choice about where the cremation takes place. On the day itself, our team will guide you through every moment, from the arrival of the cortège to the committal, ensuring the service reflects exactly what your loved one would have wanted. We take care of all the coordination with the crematorium so your family can focus entirely on being together.
Our team at Diss Funeralcare incorporating Rackham's on Stanley Road is here for families across the local area, including Roydon, Bressingham, Scole, Eye, and Harleston. Wherever you are in the surrounding villages and towns, we will come to you and support your family every step of the way. Distance is never a barrier to the care we provide.
Diss Funeralcare incorporating Rackham's has been serving the local community since 1920, and our Stanley Road funeral home has a private chapel of rest where families are welcome to spend quiet time with their loved one. We also have our own service venue with capacity for up to 60 people, offering a peaceful and intimate alternative to a church or crematorium for those who would prefer it. On-site parking is available, and our funeral home is fully wheelchair accessible, so every member of your family can be with you on the day.
