Yes, our Driffield funeral home on Mill Street serves families across the surrounding area, including Nafferton, Hutton Cranswick, Little Driffield, and Kellythorpe. Whether you are close to home or a little further out across the East Riding, our team will come to you and make sure every arrangement is handled with care.
Absolutely every kind of service is something our team at our Mill Street funeral home can help you create, whether that means a traditional religious ceremony, a fully secular celebration of life, or something that blends the two. We work with families from all walks of life across Driffield and the surrounding East Riding to make sure the service truly reflects the person who died. There is no single right way, and we will listen carefully to what matters most to your family.
When someone has died, our team in Driffield is here around the clock and you can call us at any time, day or night, on Mill Street — you do not need to have everything figured out before you pick up the phone. We can arrange to bring your father into our care, and we will walk you through the paperwork and next steps gently, at your pace. There is no pressure to make every decision immediately; our priority in those first hours is simply to support your family and make sure he is looked after.
Our funeral home sits on Mill Street in the heart of Driffield, making it straightforward to reach whether you are coming from the town centre or travelling in from Hutton Cranswick or Kellythorpe. There is limited parking at the rear of the building as well as free car parks and street parking close by, so you should not have trouble finding a space. The arrangement room is on the ground floor and the building is fully wheelchair accessible, with an accessible toilet available, so every member of your family is welcome.
On the day of a cremation, our team will coordinate everything from the moment the cortège leaves, guiding your family through each part of the service so nothing feels uncertain. The service itself typically lasts around 30 to 45 minutes and can be as personal as you wish — music, readings, and tributes are all welcome. Afterwards, we can advise on the return of ashes and any memorial options, whether you are based in Driffield itself or out in the East Riding villages.
