Yes, our team at Ledbury covers a wide area, including Ross-on-Wye and many of the surrounding villages throughout Herefordshire and into Gloucestershire. Distance is never a barrier when a family needs us, and we will come to you wherever you are. Please do call us and we can talk through everything from the very first step.
From our Ledbury funeral home on Bye Street, we work with four crematoriums depending on your family's wishes and location, including Hereford Crematorium, the Forest of Dean Crematorium, Gloucester Crematorium, and Cheltenham Crematorium. On the day itself, our team will guide the procession from the agreed meeting point to the crematorium, where the service takes place in the chapel before the committal. We take care of every detail of the journey so that your family can focus entirely on being together.
We have many years of experience arranging funerals that reflect a wide range of faiths and cultural traditions, including Buddhist funerals, Catholic and Church of England services, Humanist celebrations, and funerals for Eastern European communities. Our team at Ledbury takes time to understand exactly what matters to you and your family, so that every element of the service is meaningful and true to your loved one's background. Whether a service takes place locally or involves traditions we need to research further, we are here to make it right.
Reaching out to us as soon as you feel ready is all you need to do, and our team is available at any hour to take your call and arrange to bring your loved one into our care. We handle collection throughout Ledbury and the wider Herefordshire area, and once your family member is with us at our Bye Street funeral home, you can take a little time before we sit down together to begin making arrangements. We will also gently guide you through the paperwork that needs to be completed, so nothing feels overwhelming.
We have three on-site parking spaces at our Bye Street funeral home, as well as street parking nearby, though please be aware that the street parking close to us is restricted to one hour. The nearest car park offers 30 minutes free and has ample spaces, including dedicated disabled bays and electric vehicle charging points, making it a comfortable option for families travelling a little further, including those coming from Gloucester or Cheltenham. Our building is fully accessible, with step-free entry, a ground-floor arrangement room, and an accessible toilet, so every family can visit us with ease.
