We work regularly with local churches including St Hugh of Lincoln, St George's, and St Paul's, and we are experienced in coordinating services that reflect your family's faith and wishes. Whether you are looking for a traditional Christian service, a more personal ceremony, or something that blends both, our team will liaise with the officiant and venue on your behalf. We are here to make sure the service feels right for the person who died and for the people who loved them.
Our team is available to take your call whenever you need us, and one of the most important things we can do in those early hours is bring your loved one into our care at Howard Park Corner. We handle the collection with gentleness and discretion, whether from home, a hospital, or a care home, and we will talk you through any paperwork or registration requirements step by step. There is no pressure to make any decisions straight away — we are simply here to help your family feel held at a very difficult time.
A cremation service follows a similar shape to any funeral — your family gathers at a church or ceremony venue, such as St Paul's or St George's here in Letchworth, to share readings, music, and tributes before your loved one is taken to the crematorium. We guide you through the timing of the day so nothing feels rushed or uncertain, and our team stays with you throughout. Afterwards, we handle all the arrangements with the crematorium directly, and we will talk you through the choices around ashes in advance so you are prepared.
Yes, our team at Letchworth looks after families across the surrounding area, including Baldock, Royston, Stotfold, Biggleswade, and the wider North Hertfordshire region. Wherever you are, we can come to you, and all arrangements can be made from our funeral home on Howard Park Corner. You do not need to be local to Letchworth itself to use our services.
We have on-site parking for up to three cars at our funeral home on Howard Park Corner, which is useful when families are arriving for arrangement meetings. Our ground floor arrangement room means you do not need to manage any stairs, and we have two private rooms where families can meet with us comfortably. If you have any specific access requirements or concerns before visiting, please do call us ahead of your appointment so we can make sure everything is ready for you.
