We're a funeral home in the heart of Lochgelly, serving the communities of Dunfermline, Cowdenbeath and Rosyth since 1990. Our clients describe us as "patient, kind, and compassionate". Whether your family has a strong faith tradition or would simply prefer a familiar, meaningful setting, our team will liaise directly with the minister or celebrant on your behalf. We are equally experienced in arranging non-religious and humanist ceremonies for families who prefer a secular farewell.
We work with Kirkcaldy Crematorium, Dunfermline Crematorium, and Perthshire Crematorium, and we will help you choose the one that feels right for your family. On the day itself, our team will travel with your loved one and guide you through the service, whether that is a simple farewell or a fuller ceremony with music, readings, and tributes. We take care of all the arrangements in advance so that on the day your family can focus entirely on saying goodbye.
You do not need to have everything figured out before you call us — our team is here to help from the very first moment, day or night. We can arrange to bring your loved one into our care from home, a care home, or a hospital in Dunfermline or elsewhere in the area, and we will talk you gently through the paperwork and next steps at a pace that suits you. Nothing needs to be decided in a rush, and we will make sure you feel fully supported before any decisions are made.
There is a free car park nearby as well as street parking close to our High Street funeral home, so getting to us should be straightforward. Our arrangement room is on the ground floor and can comfortably seat up to six people, which means the whole immediate family can come together to plan in one visit. We also have an accessible toilet on site, and our team will always do their utmost to ensure your visit is as comfortable as possible.
