Yes, our funeral home on High Street serves families across Macclesfield and the surrounding villages, including Bollington, Sutton, Tytherington, Bosley, and Pott Shrigley. We've been part of this community since 1980, so we know these areas well and are always happy to travel to where your family needs us. If you're unsure whether we cover your location, please do give us a call and we'll be glad to help.
Yes, we have a chapel of rest at our High Street funeral home where you and your family are welcome to spend quiet, private time with your loved one. Our arrangement room is on the ground floor and is fully accessible, with wheelchair access and an accessible toilet, so we can accommodate family members with different needs. The room comfortably seats up to six people, giving your family a calm and private space to begin making arrangements together.
We arrange both religious and non-religious funerals and are experienced in tailoring each service to reflect what matters most to your family. For those who would like a church service, we work with a number of local venues including St Michael's, St Alban's, St James' in Sutton, Macclesfield Methodist, and the Salvation Army. Whether you have a clear vision or are not yet sure what feels right, our team will take the time to listen and help you find the most fitting way to say goodbye.
You don't need to have everything figured out straight away, and our team is here around the clock whenever you're ready to call. One of the most immediate things we can help with is bringing your loved one into our care, and we can arrange collection from a home in Macclesfield or the surrounding area, including villages like Bollington and Pott Shrigley, at any time of day or night. From there, we'll gently walk you through the next steps, including registering the death and beginning to think about the arrangements, at whatever pace feels right for you.
We use Macclesfield Crematorium for cremation services, and our team will guide you through everything you can expect on the day so nothing feels unfamiliar or overwhelming. We take care of all the arrangements with the crematorium on your behalf, from booking the time to coordinating the procession. On the day itself, a member of our team will be present throughout to make sure everything runs smoothly and your loved one is treated with the greatest care and dignity.
