We work regularly with a number of local churches, including Our Lady Of Lourdes and the Church of Ascension, and can liaise directly with the clergy on your behalf to arrange a service that reflects your family's faith. Whether you have a long-standing relationship with a particular congregation or simply feel a church service is right for your loved one, our team will coordinate all the details. We are equally experienced in arranging non-religious and civil ceremonies for families who prefer a more personal or secular farewell.
There is free street parking close to us on Glentworth Road West, as well as a nearby car park that is also free and unrestricted, so getting to us should be straightforward even if you are travelling in from somewhere like Carnforth or Lancaster. Our arrangement room is on the ground floor and can comfortably seat up to four people, which means you can bring the family members who matter most to you when making the arrangements. We also have an accessible toilet on site, though please do be aware that the building does not currently have full wheelchair access — if this is a concern, please call us and we will do everything we can to accommodate your family's needs.
Yes, our team on Glentworth Road West serves families across Bolton-le-Sands, Carnforth, Westgate, Milnthorpe, Holme, Beetham and the wider Lancaster and Morecambe area. Wherever you are in the region, we can come to you and guide your family through every step of the arrangements. Distance is never a barrier to the care we provide.
You can call our Morecambe funeral home on Glentworth Road West at any time, day or night, and our team will be there to help from the very first moment. We can arrange for your loved one to be brought into our care straight away, which many families find brings a measure of comfort and calm in those early hours. Once that is in place, we will talk you through the paperwork — registering the death, obtaining the necessary certificates — at a pace that feels manageable, so nothing is left unclear.
On the day of the cremation, we will bring your loved one into the service venue — such as St Peter's Church or Terrisholme Methodist Church if that is your family's choice — before the committal takes place at the crematorium. Our team will walk you through the order of the service in advance, including music, readings and any personal touches you would like, so the day feels shaped by the person who died rather than by routine. Afterwards, we will handle all the practical arrangements and talk you through the options for the ashes at a pace that suits your family.
