Yes, our team has experience supporting families from many different faith backgrounds, including Catholic, Church of England, Buddhist, and Humanist traditions, and we work closely with local clergy and celebrants to reflect what matters most to your family. We are familiar with venues in the area such as Holy Apostles Saint Peter and Saint Paul and Christ Church Eaton, which means we can help coordinate the right setting for the service you have in mind. Whatever the tradition, we will listen carefully and make sure the funeral is a true reflection of the person who died.
When someone has just died, you do not need to have everything figured out before you call us. Our team at Earlham on Bowthorpe Road is here to talk you through what needs to happen, including bringing your loved one into our care, and we can advise on the paperwork and practical steps at a pace that feels manageable for your family. Whether the death has happened at home near Eaton or in a care setting in Hellesdon, we will take care of everything calmly and with complete respect.
On the day of the cremation, our team will guide your family every step of the way, from the moment we leave Bowthorpe Road to the service itself. We can arrange for the service to be held at a nearby venue such as Christ Church Eaton before the cremation takes place, and we will talk you through the timing, the order of the service, and what happens afterwards. Our aim is that nothing comes as a surprise, and that you feel held and informed throughout the day.
Not at all. Our Earlham funeral home on Bowthorpe Road serves families across Drayton, Hellesdon, St Faith's, Bowthorpe, Eaton, and the surrounding area. Whatever your circumstances, our team will come to you and make sure distance is never a worry at such a difficult time.
We have a small on-site car park on Bowthorpe Road with three spaces, and there is also free nearby parking as well as street parking available if those spaces are taken. Our arrangement room is on the ground floor and the building has full wheelchair access, so families who need step-free entry are very welcome. If you have any specific access requirements before visiting us from Bowthorpe or further afield, please do call ahead and our team will make sure everything is ready for you.
