View funeral notices and leave a tribute or donation in their memory
We serve families across Prescot, Whiston, Huyton and Rainhill, and we've been part of this community since 1985. Our team knows the local area well, from the churches and community venues to the routes and timings that matter when planning a funeral. Whether your family is in the heart of Prescot or in any of the surrounding towns, we're here to help you arrange everything with care and local knowledge.
We arrange secular funerals for families who want a ceremony that reflects their loved one's beliefs and values without religious content. This might be a humanist celebration at St Helens Crematorium, or a gathering at a local venue that feels right for your family. We'll help you shape a personal tribute with readings, music and memories that honour the person you've lost, in a way that feels meaningful to everyone there.
The first step is to call us, and we'll talk you through everything that needs to happen next. We can bring your loved one into our care from a hospital, nursing home or their own home in Prescot or the surrounding areas, and we'll handle all the practical arrangements with sensitivity. Our team will then sit down with you to discuss your wishes for the funeral, whether that's at St Helens Crematorium or another venue, and guide you through each decision at a pace that feels right for you.
We work closely with St Helens Crematorium and can arrange all the details on your behalf, from booking the service time to coordinating the order of service and any music or readings you'd like. Our team will guide you through what to expect on the day, including timings and how the committal works. We'll also help you plan what happens afterwards, whether that's a gathering for family and friends or a quieter moment together.
We have a chapel of rest at our Warrington Road funeral home where you're welcome to spend time with your loved one in a peaceful, private setting. Many families find it helps to visit, whether that's to say goodbye, to bring children or grandchildren, or simply to sit quietly for a while. Our team will arrange a time that suits you, and we'll make sure you feel supported and unhurried during your visit.
