Families in St Helen's turn to us for support during some of life's most difficult times. We support people from all corners of St Helen's, including Thatto Heath, Sutton, Eccleston and Haresfinch. We strive to give everyone who comes through our doors, or calls in for a chat, the best experience possible when arranging a funeral.
Our team are good listeners, and that's the first thing we will do when we talk with you. That way we can help you arrange the funeral that feels right. We have longstanding relationships with local crematoriums and churches like St Teresa's, St Luke's and St Helen's, Greenacres, Springwood and Widnes Crematoriums. We also know many of the local religious leaders and some wonderful funeral celebrants.
If you need us, call or visit us in person at Eccleston Street. We'll be here to welcome you from the first conversation and take the time to understand your unique needs and support you through every step.

We work regularly with St Helens Crematorium, Greenacres, Springwood Crematorium and Widnes Crematorium, so you have several options depending on what feels right for your family. Each crematorium has different facilities and surroundings, and our team can talk you through the practical details like timing, parking and the layout of the chapels. Many families choose based on location or personal connection, and we'll help you make that decision without any pressure.
The first step is to give us a call on the number at the top of this page, and we'll guide you through everything from there. If your loved one has died at home, we'll arrange to bring them into our care and to our chapel of rest here on Eccleston Street. If they've died in hospital, we'll liaise with the ward staff and handle all the arrangements so you don't have to worry about the practicalities during such a difficult time.
We support families right across St Helens, including Thatto Heath, Sutton, Eccleston and Haresfinch. Our team at Eccleston Street knows the local area well, and we're here to help whether you're arranging a service at one of the nearby churches or at a crematorium further afield. Wherever you are in St Helens, we'll come to you to discuss arrangements at a time that suits your family.
We do have a chapel of rest at our Eccleston Street branch where your loved one will be cared for with dignity before the funeral. Visiting can be an important part of saying goodbye, and you're welcome to spend time here in peaceful, private surroundings whenever you need to. Our team will arrange appointments that work around your family's schedule, and there's no limit on how often you'd like to visit.
Yes, we arrange funerals for all faiths and for families who'd prefer a non-religious service. We work closely with local churches including St Teresa's Church, St Luke's Church and St Mary's Lowe House, and we're experienced in supporting the particular traditions and requirements of Catholic funerals. If your family follows a different faith or you'd like a celebrant-led ceremony, we'll make sure every detail is handled with care and respect.
