Co-op Funeralcare, Rainham
144 High Street, Rainham, ME8 8AR
Our funeral home in Rainham has been serving the local community since 1995. During that time, we've come to know and love our local area well. We cover areas in and around Rainham, including Newington, Gillingham and Hempstead. We're here to give you a friendly, reliable and sensitively planned funeral service at your time of need.
Throughout our time here we've built strong relationships across the area with local churches, other places of worship and crematoriums. We have close ties with St Margaret's. Whatever type of funeral service you want, religious, traditional or a celebration of someone's life, we will help you.
If you need us, call or visit us in person on High Street. We'll be here to welcome you from the first conversation and take the time to understand your unique needs and support you through every step.

We have a great deal of experience working with St Margaret's in Rainham and are happy to co-ordinate a traditional religious service there on your behalf. We can also arrange non-religious or humanist services, so whatever your family's beliefs, we will work with you to create something that truly reflects the person who died.
You can call us at any time, day or night, and our team will talk you through everything calmly, including arranging collection and explaining the paperwork that needs to follow. We have been supporting families in Rainham and across Gillingham since 1995, so we are well practised at guiding people gently through those first difficult hours.
Yes, our Rainham funeral home has been serving families across Newington, Hempstead, Gillingham and Rainham itself since 1995, so we know this part of Kent well. Whether you are in the heart of Rainham or a little further out, our team is here to help you arrange a funeral that feels right for your family.
We have a private arrangement room on site where you can sit with our team away from the world to talk through your wishes at your own pace, though please be aware it is not on the ground floor. There is a paid car park nearby if you are driving, and we recommend calling ahead so we can make sure everything is ready for your visit to our High Street funeral home.
We work with Garden of England Crematorium and Medway Crematorium, both of which offer a calm, dignified setting for a cremation service. On the day, our team will guide the procession and be with your family every step of the way, from the moment we leave Rainham through to the committal, so you never have to manage anything alone.
