Co-op Funeralcare, Romford Harold Hill
153 Hilldene Avenue, Harold Hill, Romford, RM3 8DL
If you need to arrange a funeral in Harold Hill, we're here when you need us. Many of us are from Harold Hill and have made this place our home. We will support you through every step, helping you know just what to do when making funeral arrangements.
We will be led by you in making the funeral arrangements. We will listen as you tell us about who they were and what feels right for them. Then we will use our established relationships with local places of worship and crematoriums in the area, like St Dominic's Church and St Andrew's to create the funeral that feels right.
We will give you a warm welcome, a cup of tea and the confidence that any funeral you arrange with us will be the best it can be. Call us or come to our funeral home on Hilldene Avenue.

Our funeral home on Hilldene Avenue is right in the heart of Harold Hill, and many of our team have lived and worked here for years, so we know this community well. We are here to support families across Harold Hill and the local area, and we can talk through your specific circumstances when you call us. If you are unsure whether we cover your road or a neighbouring area, please do get in touch and we will do everything we can to help.
We can arrange the full range of services, whether that means a secular celebration of life, a humanist service, or a traditional religious service at a local church such as St Dominic's Church or St Andrew's. We are guided entirely by what feels right for your family and what best reflects the person who has died. Whatever form the service takes, our team will make sure it is meaningful and personal.
We know that the hours after someone dies can feel completely overwhelming, and we are available to take your call and talk you through what needs to happen, at whatever hour you need us. Our team can come to bring your loved one into our care in Harold Hill, and once they are with us, we will explain the paperwork and registration process step by step so nothing is left unclear. You do not need to have all the answers straight away, and we will help you understand exactly what to do and when.
We work with South Essex Crematorium and Forest Park Crematorium, and our team will help you choose whichever feels right for your family and your loved one. On the day, we will manage every detail of the procession from Harold Hill to the crematorium, so you can focus entirely on being with the people you love. Our team will be with you throughout, guiding you gently so nothing feels unfamiliar or overwhelming.
We have two on-site parking spaces on our drive, and if you need more space, there is a council car park at the local shops directly across the road, where the first 30 minutes are free. The building is fully wheelchair accessible, with a ground floor arrangement room and an accessible toilet, so every family member can be comfortable during what can be a difficult visit. Our arrangement room seats up to four people, and we will always make sure your family feels welcome and at ease from the moment you arrive.
