You’ll need to pay 50% of the funeral cost within 2 days of making the arrangements and the rest after the funeral has taken place.

You can pay in full, spread the cost over 6 or 12 months with no additional costs or monthly instalments over 2–25 years (2-5 years for Direct Cremation). There's an additional instalment charge when paying over 2-25 years and age restrictions apply.

Our Stone funeral home on the High Street has a chapel of rest where you and your family are welcome to spend quiet, private time with your loved one before the funeral. We're fully wheelchair accessible, so everyone who needs to visit can do so comfortably. If you're travelling to see us, the nearest parking is the Morrisons car park, which is just a short walk away and available for a small charge.
When someone dies, a medical certificate of cause of death will need to be issued by a doctor before the death can be registered, and registration itself must take place within five days in England. Our team at the Stone funeral home can advise you on exactly what's needed and point you in the right direction for your local register office, so you're never left wondering what to do next.
