We are very happy to arrange services at St Andrew's in Roker, Fulwell Methodist Church, St Peter's in Monkwearmouth, or at the crematorium itself for those who prefer a non-religious farewell. Whatever reflects the life and beliefs of the person who died, our team will work with you to make the service as personal and meaningful as possible.
You can call us at any time, day or night, and we will arrange for your loved one to be brought into our care as soon as you are ready, including from local areas like Hylton Castle or Fulwell itself. Once they are with us, there is no rush, and our team will talk you through the paperwork and next steps gently, at whatever pace suits your family.
Yes, our Fulwell funeral home on Sea Road is well placed to support families across Whitburn, as well as Castletown, Hylton Castle, Roker and the surrounding area. Wherever you are based locally, our team will come to you and guide you through every step at a pace that feels right for your family.
We work with Sunderland Crematorium and South Shields Crematorium, and our team will help you decide which feels right depending on your wishes and any practical considerations. On the day, we will lead the procession and remain with your family throughout, making sure everything runs smoothly so you can focus entirely on saying goodbye to the person who died.
Street parking is available close by on Whitburn Terrace, so you should not have difficulty finding somewhere to leave your car when you visit us on Sea Road. Our arrangement room is on the ground floor and the building has full wheelchair access and an accessible toilet, meaning all members of your family can join you comfortably when we sit down together to make arrangements.
