We work regularly with Walton Lea, Howe Bridge and Altrincham crematoriums, so our team knows each venue and can talk you through what to expect. The cremation service itself usually lasts around 30 to 45 minutes, giving family and friends time to say goodbye with readings, music or a eulogy. We handle all the arrangements with the crematorium, coordinate timings, and make sure everything runs smoothly on the day.
Absolutely. We arrange services in both Church of England and Catholic churches across the local area, working closely with clergy to plan a meaningful ceremony. For families who'd prefer a non-religious or humanist service, we can arrange that too, often at one of the crematoriums we use or another venue that feels right. We take time to understand what matters to your family and tailor every detail accordingly.
We've been serving families across Orford, Padgate, Woolston and Penketh since the 1990s, and we know these communities well. Our team arranges funerals throughout the local area, and we're always happy to travel to surrounding neighbourhoods when families need us. Whether your loved one lived locally or you're arranging a service here because of family connections, we'll support you through every step.
The first step is simply to call us, and we'll guide you through everything that needs to happen. If your loved one has died at home, we'll arrange to bring them into our care straight away. If they've died in hospital or a care home, the staff there will usually contact us on your behalf, or you can call us directly. Once we've collected your loved one, we can sit down together to talk through your wishes and start planning the funeral at a pace that suits you.
Yes, we have a peaceful chapel of rest here on Gorsey Lane where you're welcome to spend time with your loved one before the funeral. Many families find these visits really important, and our team will arrange everything sensitively so you can say goodbye in private. You can visit as often as you need to during our opening hours, and we'll always make sure your loved one is cared for with dignity.
