We’re a complete funeral service provider
Unlike other funeral plan providers, we can both plan and carry out your funeral. When you buy a plan with Co-op Funeral Plans Limited, your funeral will be carried out by Funeral Services Limited, which are both part of Co-op Funeralcare. This means you can be sure that every detail in your plan will be as you wanted.
A Co-op funeral director or one of our associated directors, will conduct your funeral, guaranteeing all the care and high standards you would expect from us. Other plan providers may ask you to nominate an independent funeral director, but they can’t guarantee that they will be the ones carrying out the funeral.
A range of payment options to choose from
You can choose to pay for a funeral plan in full, spread the cost over 6 or 12 months with no additional fees, or in monthly instalments over 2 to 25 years, or 2 to 5 years for a Direct Cremation Plan.
If you pay for a funeral plan over 2 to 25 years, your family will be protected from any short fall if you die before your payment term is complete. As long as you’ve been paying into the plan for at least 12 months, we'll still honour your funeral plan.^

Become a Co-op member^If you choose to make monthly payments over 2 to 25 years, or 2 to 5 years for a Direct Cremation Plan, and die as a result of an accident within the first 12 months of your plan, we will deliver all services provided in your plan. If you die after 12 months, we will deliver all the services provided in your plan, even if you’ve not finished paying for it. All previous payments must be paid up to date and your funeral must be carried out by one of our approved funeral directors. See our terms and conditions.
