Pet Hamper terms and conditions

The offer

All new Co-op Pet Insurance customers who are residents in the UK (inclusive of NI) who take out a pet insurance policy direct. A new Co-op Insurance customer means an individual who has not previously had an insurance policy of the same type as the eligible policies from Co-op Insurance within the preceding 12-months. “Direct” shall mean an eligible policy purchased via the contact centre or online via coop.co.uk/insurance only. Marketing Lounge Partnership Limited will supply either a dog or cat pet hamper, dependent on the eligible policy bought.

Opening and closing date

This promotion will operate from 3 October 2022 to 27 November 2022.

Co-op Insurance Services Limited is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and appears on the Financial Services Register under number 779364 (“Co-op Insurance”). References to ‘we’, ‘us’ or ‘our’ in these terms and conditions are references to the Promoter.

Notification and application of the offer

Eligible customers who purchase an eligible dog policy will receive a dog pet hamper. Eligible customers who purchase an eligible cat policy will receive a cat pet hamper. Dog pet hamper will include snake toy, dog lead, bones toy, dog bones, poop bags and holder and cage ball; cat pet hamper will include cat teasers and pounces, cat mat, cat sporks and cat bowl. Co-op Insurance reserves the right to substitute the pet hamper with a suitable alternative of similar or greater value. Eligible customers will receive their pet hamper from Marketing Lounge Partnership Limited within 90 days of their eligible policy start date.

Co-op Insurance and Marketing Lounge Partnership Limited accepts no liability for issues arising with the pet hamper.

Co-op Insurance accepts no liability for issues arising with the pet hamper following dispatch.

Additional terms

An eligible policy must be in place for a period of at least 30 consecutive days in order to qualify for the offer. If you cancel your eligible policy within 30 days of the policy start date you will not be entitled to the offer. The offer is conditional on the existence of a valid eligible policy. In the event that acceptance is not forthcoming as determined by any relevant party for whatsoever reason you will not be entitled to receive the offer and no correspondence will be enter into about it. Only one offer per eligible policy. The offer shall be made available to the policy holder only. You must notify us if there are any issues with receiving your hamper within 180 days of your policy start date, contact 0333 009 2439. Where you fail to contact us within 180 days of your policy start date, we may in our absolute discretion refuse to fulfil the offer without liability to you.

Exclusions

The offer is not exchangeable, and no cash alternative can be requested. All policies bought via price comparison websites or cashback websites are not eligible policies for the purpose of this offer and are excluded from the offer.

Disqualification

We reserve the right to not award the offer and disqualify any individual from entitlement to the offer if we suspect them of failing to comply with these terms and conditions or of fraud or dishonesty.

Use of personal information to administer promotion

We, other members of the Co-operative Group and 3rd party agencies acting on our behalf, may collect personal information from you in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and other applicable data privacy laws. We and other members of the Co-operative Group may use your information for the purposes of administering this Promotion.

Cancellation or withdrawal

We reserve the right at our absolute discretion to withdraw or cancel this promotion without prior notice and without liability to any party.

Changes to these terms and conditions

We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Revised terms and conditions will be available at coop.co.uk/pethamper. It is your responsibility to keep up to date with any such changes. For the avoidance of doubt these terms and conditions do not alter or vary the terms and conditions of any eligible policy and to the extent of any inconsistency between the terms of this promotion and the terms of an eligible policy the terms of the eligible policy shall prevail.

Relevant law

This promotion and these terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England, and you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts if any dispute arises.
