We want to make it as easy as possible to contact us if you need to make a claim.

Make a claim

Let us know:

  • the name and address of all policyholders
  • your policy number
  • what was lost or damaged
  • when and how the incident happened
  • whether anyone was hurt

Common reasons claims are rejected

Claims will be rejected if they are not covered by the policy. Some common instances of this include:

  • fence panels damaged in a storm
  • gradual events that happen over time like wear and tear and poor maintenance

Contact details for new claims

The contact details are listed by underwriter. This is the company that handles your cover and any claims. It will say who yours is on your policy documents. If you are unsure who your underwriter is you can ring 03457 46 46 46 to check.

Ongoing claims

If you have an ongoing claim, use the contact details you have been sent. If you have lost these details, contact your underwriter to retrieve them.

Home assistance

This is an add-on from AXA Assistance (UK) Ltd which provides temporary emergency repairs to sudden issues affecting your home such as:

  • your boiler
  • hot water system
  • central heating
  • main heating source breaking down
  • the gas or electricity supply in your home not working
  • losing all the keys you need to get into your home
