Cancelling your policy

We understand that insurance won’t be the first thing on your mind after losing a pet. But it’s important for you to let us know so we can update or cancel your policy.

If you pay monthly, you won’t be charged the remaining payments for the full policy year. If you pay annually, you will get some money back if you have not made a claim.

To discuss the next steps after your pet has passed away, you can call or email us.

Making a claim

If your pet was undergoing treatment before they died, you could be eligible to claim for the veterinary fees. Regardless of treatment, you may be eligible to claim for Farewell Cover to help towards the costs of euthanasia and cremation as part of the veterinary fee cover available (age restrictions apply).

Whilst we understand that you cannot replace your treasured pet, if you have insured your pet’s purchase price, you may also be eligible to claim under the death from illness or death from accident cover (subject to age and cover restrictions).

Please read your policy documents for full information.

If you would like to speak to our team about a potential claim, you can call or email us.
