We want to cover as many dogs and cats as possible, so as long as your pet is over 8 weeks old, there is no maximum age limit.
Plus if you have adopted your pet from a recognised animal charity or rescue centre we want to say thank you by giving you a 2.5% discount.
The discount applies for the first year only and minimum premiums apply.

Key things to know about Co-op Pet Insurance
your pet must be at least 8 weeks old when cover starts. There is no upper age limit.
you must be 18 or older to take out a policy.
we do not cover pre-existing conditions. This includes any illness or injury that showed signs, symptoms or was treated before your policy started.
some dog breeds are not covered. See the full list of excluded dog breeds.
We also do not cover:
injuries that happen in the first 48 hours
illnesses that show signs or symptoms in the first 14 days
cosmetic, routine, planned or preventative treatment or check-ups
