Renewing your van insurance policy

We will typically send you a renewal invitation at least 3 weeks before your renewal date. The invitation will state whether your policy is set for automatic renewal.

You can also find this on your confirmation letter by logging into your account. If you haven’t signed up yet, you can register for an online account using the details on your policy.

Through your online account, you can view your policy documents and make changes to your van, personal or payment details. You can also add or remove a driver.

What if I don't want to renew my van insurance?

If you do not want to renew and your policy is not set to renew automatically, you do not need to do anything further.

If you pay via direct debit, you will need to cancel your automatic renewal at least 4 days before your renewal date via our call centre, live chat or your online account.

Co-op Members

For Co-op Members, stopping your renewal does not mean losing your Co-op Membership. You will stay a Co-op Member unless you decide to cancel your Membership.

Ways to manage your renewal

For help with your policy renewal and cover management, you can call us. You can also login to your account and use live chat to reach our support team.

When calling us, you will need to provide:

  • your policy number
  • your name and address
  • your date of birth

Only the policyholder can renew the policy. If you want someone else to do it, you must contact us to give them permission.

Van insurance is offered through Co-op Insurance Services and administered by Affinity Insurance Solutions Limited.

Applicants for insurance are subject to normal underwriting criteria.

Co-op Insurance Services Limited will receive a percentage commission from your insurance payments excluding any add ons.
