Our team at Peter Taylor's has experience supporting families from a range of faith and belief backgrounds, including Buddhist, Catholic, Church of England, and Humanist traditions. We work closely with local venues such as Holt Methodist Church and All Saints District Church, and for Humanist services we can connect your family with a celebrant who will craft a ceremony that truly honours your loved one's life. Whatever matters most to your family, we will listen carefully and help shape a farewell that feels right.
On the day of a cremation, our team will collect your loved one and bring them into our care before the service begins, ensuring everything is prepared with the greatest respect. We can arrange services at local churches such as St Andrew the Apostle Church in Holt before the cremation takes place, and we will guide your family through the timing and order of the day so nothing feels uncertain. Our funeral directors stay with you throughout, making sure the day reflects who your loved one was.
Yes, our team at Peter Taylor's on Station Road serves families across Blakeney, Holt, Kelling, Baconsthorpe, Plumstead, Gresham, Cromer, and St Faith's. Whether you are nearby or a little further along the North Norfolk coast, we are here to help you through every step of arranging a funeral for someone you love.
When someone dies, you can call us at any time — day or night — and our team will come to you, whether that is at home, in hospital, or in a care setting anywhere across the Holt area. We will take care of bringing your loved one into our care here on Station Road, and we can talk you through the paperwork, such as registering the death, at a pace that suits you. You do not need to have any decisions made before you call; simply reaching out to us is enough to begin.
Our funeral home on Station Road has six on-site parking spaces, so your family does not need to worry about finding a space on the day of an arrangement meeting or a visit to our chapel of rest. The building is fully wheelchair accessible with a ground-floor arrangement room and an accessible toilet, meaning everyone in your family can be present and comfortable during what can be a difficult time. Our arrangement room seats up to six people, giving you a private, unhurried space to talk everything through with our team.
