When you are ready, call us and our team will take care of bringing your loved one into our care from anywhere across Pennington, Leigh or the wider area — day or night. You do not need to have any decisions made before you ring; we will simply listen and help you understand the next steps, including registering the death at Leigh Register Office. Nothing will be rushed, and we will be with you through every part of what comes next.
Our funeral home on St Helen's Road has street parking nearby and additional space on the side streets close to us, so families should be able to find somewhere to park without too much difficulty. The building is wheelchair accessible and our arrangement room is on the ground floor, meaning there are no stairs to navigate when you come in to meet with us. If you have any specific access requirements, please let us know beforehand and we will do everything we can to make your visit as comfortable as possible.
On the day of a cremation, our team will bring your loved one into the service venue — such as Leigh Parish Church or another location your family has chosen — before the committal at the crematorium. The service itself follows whatever order feels right for your family, whether that includes music, readings, a eulogy or a period of quiet reflection. We will guide you through the timing and what to expect so that nothing feels uncertain or rushed on the day.
We work regularly with local churches including Christ Church, St Peter's, St Paul's and Leigh Parish Church, and we can make all the necessary arrangements with the minister or officiant on your behalf. Whether your family would like a traditional religious service, a secular ceremony or something that blends both, our team will help shape a funeral that feels true to the person who has died. We are happy to discuss any wishes or traditions that matter to your family.
Yes, our team on St Helen's Road is here for families across Leigh, Pennington and the surrounding communities. Please do get in touch and we will talk you through everything at your own pace.
