You can call us at any time — day or night — and our team will come to you, whether you're at home in Wigmore, in hospital, or anywhere else across the areas we cover. We'll take care of bringing your loved one into our care on Wigmore Lane and talk you through the paperwork, including the death certificate and any registration requirements, at a pace that suits you. You don't need to have any decisions made before you call; the first conversation is simply about making sure your family is supported.
Yes, our team covers Cockernhoe and the surrounding villages, including Putteridge, Wigmore, Winch Hill, and Luton Vale, as well as Stopsley itself. We're based on Wigmore Lane and are familiar with the roads and communities across this part of Luton, so you won't need to look further afield for support. Wherever you are in these areas, we're here to help your family through every step.
A cremation service follows much the same shape as any funeral — your family gathers to mark the life of the person who has died, with readings, music, and tributes chosen by you. We can help you arrange a service at one of the local churches we work with, such as Stopsley Baptist Church or the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, before the cremation takes place. Our team will guide you through the timings and talk you through exactly what happens, so there are no unexpected moments on the day.
We have a great deal of experience arranging funerals for Catholic families and members of the Travelling community in and around Stopsley and Luton Vale. We work closely with local churches including Our Lady Help of Christians and the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, so we understand the traditions, rituals, and values that matter most to your family. Whatever your faith or cultural background, our team will listen carefully and make sure the funeral reflects who your loved one truly was.
Our funeral home on Wigmore Lane has limited parking directly outside, with street parking available nearby for family members travelling to meet with us. The arrangement room is on the ground floor and the building is fully wheelchair accessible, with an accessible toilet available, so everyone in your family can attend in comfort. If you're unsure about getting to us, our team is happy to talk through directions, including from landmarks around Stopsley and Putteridge, before your visit.
