You’ll need to pay 50% of the funeral cost within 2 days of making the arrangements and the rest after the funeral has taken place.

You can pay in full, spread the cost over 6 or 12 months with no additional costs or monthly instalments over 2–25 years (2-5 years for Direct Cremation). There's an additional instalment charge when paying over 2-25 years and age restrictions apply.

On the day of the cremation, our team will bring your loved one to the chosen venue and lead the procession so your family can focus entirely on being together. The service itself — whether held at a church such as Sacred Heart RC Church or another location — typically lasts around 30 to 45 minutes, with time for music, readings, and personal tributes. Afterwards, we take care of every practical detail, and our team will talk you through the options for your loved one's ashes at a pace that suits you.

Our arrangement room at Abbey on Elliott Street is on the ground floor, fully accessible by wheelchair, and has an accessible toilet nearby, so every family member can join you comfortably. The room seats six or seven people, giving your family the space to talk things through privately without feeling rushed. Parking is available directly on-site as well as on the cobbled side street and on Elliott Street itself, so getting to us from across Tyldesley and the surrounding areas is straightforward.
