Our funeral home on Thunder Lane has eight on-site parking spaces, with additional street parking close by, so your family should have no difficulty arriving together without worry. The arrangement room is on the ground floor, the building is fully wheelchair accessible, and we also have an accessible toilet, meaning everyone in your family can be present for the arrangements regardless of mobility. If you are travelling from nearby villages like Poringland or St Faith's, Thunder Lane is straightforward to reach and our team is always happy to give directions.
On the day, our team will lead the cortège to the crematorium and ensure everything unfolds at a gentle, unhurried pace so your family can focus entirely on saying goodbye. We can arrange for the service to be held beforehand at a local venue such as St Andrew's Centre — The Good Shepherd, or at a church like St Mary's, before the committal takes place. We will talk you through the order of the day during the arrangement meeting so nothing comes as a surprise.
Our team has experience arranging funerals for families of many faiths and traditions, including Hindu and Buddhist services, and we will work closely with you to ensure every detail honours your beliefs. We can liaise with local places of worship or community venues, such as St Andrew's for Christian families or other suitable spaces nearby, to reflect what matters most to your family. Whatever the tradition, we are here to listen and follow your lead.
When you are ready, simply call us on our 24-hour number and one of our team will answer, day or night, to talk you through what needs to happen next. We can arrange for your loved one to be brought into our care from their home, a hospital, or a care facility in areas such as Earlham or Thorpe St. Andrew itself, and we will make sure nothing is rushed. We will also help you understand the paperwork and registration process so you are never left feeling uncertain about what comes next.
Yes, our team on Thunder Lane serves families across Sprowston and the surrounding area, so you are very much within the communities we care for. Whether you are in Sprowston, Brundall, Trowse, or further afield in Spixworth or Poringland, we will come to you and guide your family through every step.
