We work with families whatever their wishes, whether that means a service at South Molton Methodist Church, a Catholic funeral at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church, or a completely non-religious farewell at a venue of your choosing. Our team takes time to understand what mattered most to the person who died and helps you shape a service that reflects their life honestly and with care.
We have two on-site parking spaces at our West Street funeral home, and there is limited free street parking directly outside as well as payable car parks nearby for larger gatherings. Please do let us know if anyone in your family has mobility needs when you visit, as our arrangement meetings take place on the ground floor, which means there are no stairs to navigate.
Yes, our South Molton funeral home covers a wide area across North Devon, including Chittlehampton, Umberleigh, North Molton, Filleigh, and Bishop's Nympton. Whatever your location, our team will come to you and guide your family through every step of the arrangements at a pace that feels right for you.
We use North Devon Crematorium for cremation services, and our team will talk you through exactly what to expect so nothing feels unknown or overwhelming. On the day, we manage the procession from the starting point, whether that is your home or St Mary Magdalene Church here in South Molton, and we remain with your family throughout to make sure everything runs as you would wish.
You can call us at any time, day or night, and we will talk you through what needs to happen, including arranging for your loved one to come into our care from wherever they have died, whether that is at home in North Molton or elsewhere across North Devon. We can also help you understand the paperwork involved, such as registering the death, so your family does not have to navigate those early steps alone.
