Questions and answers

We have a small number of free parking bays directly at the funeral home on Bampton Street, though these are limited, so it is worth knowing that there is a council car park directly behind our building if they are taken. Street parking nearby is restricted to 20 minutes, so the car park behind us is usually the most straightforward option for longer visits. Our ground-floor arrangement room also means there are no stairs to navigate, and we have wheelchair access throughout.

Not at all. Our funeral home on Bampton Street has been caring for families across the local area since 1980, and Bampton is very much part of the community we serve. We also cover Cullompton, Willand, and the surrounding villages, so wherever you are in the area, our team is here to help you.

We work with three crematoriums, at Exeter, East Devon, and Taunton, and we will help you choose the one that feels right for your family. On the day, our team will lead the procession and be with you throughout the service, guiding you gently so you can focus on being present with those you love. We can talk through journey times and what to expect at each location when we meet.

We are happy to arrange services at St Peter's Church of England, Tiverton Baptist Church, St Paul's, or any other venue that holds meaning for your family. Whether the funeral follows a religious tradition, a non-religious format, or something that blends the two, our team will work around your wishes. We also have our own service room on-site on Bampton Street, which can seat up to 35 people, if you would prefer to hold the service with us.

We understand that the time immediately after a death can feel overwhelming, and our team in Tiverton is here around the clock to take your call and talk you through what needs to happen. We can arrange to bring your loved one into our care whenever you are ready, and there is no pressure to make every decision at once. When you do feel ready to sit down with us, we have arrangement rooms at the funeral home on Bampton Street where we can go through everything together at your own pace.
