Our funeral home in Shirley has been serving the local community since 2000. During that time, we've come to know and love our local area well. We cover areas in and around Shirley, including Millbrook, Lordshill, Maybush and Freemantle. We're here to give you a friendly, reliable and sensitively planned funeral service at your time of need.
Our team are good listeners, and that's the first thing we will do when we talk with you. That way we can help you arrange the funeral that feels right. We have longstanding relationships with local crematoriums and churches like St Boniface Church, St James' By the Park Church and Southampton, Test Valley and Wessex Vale crematoriums. We also know many of the local religious leaders and some wonderful funeral celebrants.

You do not need to have everything worked out before you call us, and our team is available to talk at any time, day or night. Once you are ready, we can arrange to bring your loved one into our care from their home, a hospital, or anywhere else in the Shirley area. From there, we will gently walk you through the practical steps, including registering the death and what paperwork you will need, at a pace that suits you.
Our Shirley funeral home on Vincent Street is well placed to support families across Millbrook, as well as Lordshill, Maybush, Freemantle, and Shirley itself. Our team has been serving these communities since 2000, so we know the area well and can guide you through everything from the very first call. Whatever your circumstances, we are here to help.
We have five on-site parking spaces directly at our Vincent Street funeral home, and there is also a paid car park next door for larger gatherings, along with some street parking nearby. Our building is fully accessible at ground level, with wheelchair access, an accessible toilet, and a ground floor arrangement room so that everyone in your family can be comfortably involved. If you have any concerns about access before you visit, please do give us a call and we will make sure everything is ready for you.
We are experienced in arranging all kinds of services, whether that is a traditional religious funeral at somewhere like St Boniface Church or St James' by the Park Church, a humanist celebration, or something entirely personal that does not follow any particular tradition. Our team will listen carefully to what matters to your family and help shape a service that truly reflects the person who died. There are no rules about what a funeral must look like, and we are here to help you find the right fit.
We work with three local crematoriums, Southampton, Test Valley, and Wessex Vale, and we will help you choose the one that feels right for your family. On the day, our team will arrange the procession and accompany your loved one throughout, so you can focus entirely on being together. Each of these crematoriums has its own character, and we are happy to talk you through what to expect at whichever you choose.
