Our funeral home on Butts Road has ten on-site parking spaces, and there is also plenty of street parking available on the main road and surrounding side roads, so attending families should find it straightforward to park close by. The building is fully accessible, with step-free entry, a ground floor arrangement room, and an accessible toilet, so everyone in your family is welcome and comfortable when you come to make arrangements or visit a loved one in our chapel of rest.
We arrange funerals for families of all faiths and none, so whether you are looking for a traditional religious service, a secular celebration of life, or something that blends both, our team at our Sholing funeral home will help you shape something that feels true to the person who died. We have experience working with a wide range of traditions and can connect you with the right celebrant, minister, or officiant to lead the service in the way your family needs.
You can call our Sholing team at any time, day or night, and we will be there to help you, whether that means bringing your father into our care from a home in Woolston or guiding you through what needs to happen in those early hours. Registering the death will need to happen within five days in England, and our team can explain exactly how that process works so nothing feels overwhelming when you are ready to talk it through.
Yes, our Sholing funeral home on Butts Road serves families across Netley Abbey, as well as Woolston, Bitterne Park, and the wider Sholing area. Wherever you are in these communities, our team can come to you and guide you through every step at whatever pace feels right for your family.
We work with Wessex Vale Crematorium in Southampton for cremation funerals, and our team will take care of every detail to help the day go as smoothly as possible. On the day itself, we will lead the procession from wherever your family has gathered, accompany you to Wessex Vale, and remain with you throughout the service to offer support and ensure everything runs according to your wishes.
